Openhouse!

Friday... i went to FF's house which is like a 1-minute walk down my house.... Before that i went to the Gardens to get Nyssa's bday present... Ju met me there so she cn follow me home to go to FF's together. Saw a shirt at Isetan... I didn't have muxh time... it was raining heavily and i still have some cooking to do... coz KI's coming over. Got bck to SA... made a short stop to get Keropok lekor & pisang goreng for my pregnant fren.

Around 7pm got a call frm AZ telling they (incl. the Diva & Hubby) is already in front of Concorde... so we got ready for our 1-minute walk... as we walked out my gate.. Diva's car passed by.. "Nak tumpang?" never mind... We reached about 20 seconds behind them.. hehehe Diva is much slimmer! and beautiful as always.

FF greeted us... i finally introduced myself to her (i hv met her b4 but never introduced myself).. she heard my name and she got all excited! "Finally i meet u!!!!" (konfius jap.. sapa selebriti ni?? hehehe)... "punya la lama... ni baru jumpa"... she was so excited... she went on to her bestfren to tell stories about me hahaha! .. about me being the neighbor that she had never had a chance to meet... she sees me several times b4 but never knew i was the neighbor she's been calling & smsing all this while. She was really friendly... i like her in person better :) KI was there too. by 8pm me & ju walked bck home accompanied by the Diva in the car... talking while walking on... it was a short walk.. so it was brief :) Oh yeah, DK was kind of friendly today... "tak ajak kite pun..." meant for me.. coz i didn't invite him to my house. Hahaha! So i 'ajak-ajak ayam' him hehehe.

KI & hubby came to my house for a while... they were already full from FF's.. but they did eat :).. Ju had her third plate hahaha! Then we went for Badminton in Subang.

I didn't plan to play and i didn't think of changing into something suitable for the occassion... i still had on my jeans and crocs.. i thot i'd just watch. ut no one was there yet so i had to play with Ju while waiting. Then towards the end.. everybody had played so they asked me to go play.. KU lent me her shoes (slightly big and a lil raised... i hv trouble controlling my moves) .. i played anyway... then wat i feared wud happen, happened! i fell flat on my back.. i knew i was goin to fall... i thot i'd hit the metal box holding the net (i wud hurt terribly or suffer a concussion)... so i twisted so i'd fall to the side of it and on my back.. lucky my reflex is quite ok :).. it didn't hurt much.. just got disoriented for a while. But later... it was that backache again! OMG not again!

Saturday... woke up around noon. Got a personal sms from FF.. saying thank u for coming yesterday... a long sms... so i replied with a long one. Apparently she's at the set, shooting... she said she'll see me @ KI's later that nite... :)

At 4pm.. the sofa i bought last week was sent over. Straight up to my room... coz i just want to hv a place i cud laze on in front of the TV. Last week... since i woke up early, i went to the furniture center.. the one near LPD in KJ... otw thr, my fren had woken up (and i'm goin to hv lunch with her) so i made it a quick one... i meant to buy so i went to the first shop... saw one and sat. i liked it at first sit (hehehe)... it was OK.. asked the price it was ok i guess (never bought one so i dn't know wat the price is supposed to be). I went and sit around some more... still i like the 1st one... so i told the sales girl i want it.. not the whole set... jus the 3-seater. i spent about 15minutes... didn't hv time to go look at the other shops... coz i'd hv to explain to my fren (the one i was goin to hv lunch with) why i went shopping without her. Well, the sofa came.. but it wasn't as comfy... i guess the one in the show room has been sat on by so many people it was soft and comfy... and it was a bit big for the room. If anyone complains about it being in my room.. i think i'll throw it out to the hall :(

By 7pm.. i went out to pick up my cuz from her hostel then went str8 to KI's place. A few had arrived... including The B*, the eyesore (seriously, i can't get over it!). KI entrusted her phones to me.... to pick-up any calls and direct them to the house... Sorry, B* u're not getting to the personal things! it was quite tiring... i didn't really sit at one place... i had to find a quiet place (it was too noisy) everytime i asnwer the calls. Then, the stars of AF were mostly there... so it was so packed and hot... til 12am! at 12am.. FF sent an sms to KI's phone... asking if it was still ok to come.. i replied on behalf hehehe "ada lagi... dtg la". Then i received her call... gave her directions to the house and greeted her outside. She came with her SIL and her 2 kids.. very cute kids! They ate inside the house... KI was still bz with other guests outside. I was bz charging KI's phone (for the 2nd time). FF saw me and asked me to come sit with her.. so i went & chatted with them at the dinind table, together with KI's hubby. Now she tells the story about me to the SIL... hehehe. heard her saying "...punya la lama dok situ... semlm baru jumpa..." i guess that'll be how she'd introduce me to anyone of her frens n family.
By the time i got home.. i hv a terrible headache... too tired. I decided to not go to the Diva's openhouse tomorrow... :(


On other matters...

My pregnant fren is not doing ok... I want to make it less hard for her... but there's no way i cud :( Just hoping it'd be ok soon. Nx week after her appointment, maybe she'd be better :) Seeing her makes me appreciate my mom more... to have gone through what she went thru. Now i do feel that mothers are under appreciated.

Next month... 2 frens celebrating bdays. I still dn't know wat i want to get for them yet... I really dn't hv time now... can i think about it after the ABR presentation?

Nw.. i need to sleep.. it's nearly 3am.
