Surprise! Surprise!

This evening my fren came over with the new BCL CD... exactly what i wanted! I thot it has not reached our shore yet, that was why i posted the shoutout.. didn't expect for anybody to response... and definitely not that fast!

I was surprised coz i wasn't expecting anybody to buy it for me... coz it's not expensive and people wud think i'd get it myself eventually.. i guessed that must hv been the reason why the response was that fast. And of all the things i cud ask for... y BCL? Firstly, i didn't expect to get it (or i'd asked for something better :P hehehe)

2ndly... The real reason i wanted the album is coz i'm a fan... The voice may not be that good... but i like the way she sings... in fact, i bought her 1st CD when i heard her songs in a music store & didn't even know who she was. I don't like Sheila Majid's voice... but i don't judge those who like her... so don't tell me i don't know how to appreciate good music. SOME people must like her for the recording company to produce a 2nd for her.

Now.. the real reason i love the album... besides being a fan of BCL... it's the fact that my fren went out to buy it for me... the thot. It was a first. I've been waiting (and hoping) for something that is bought without me being there to choose and see her pay (like wat Saf got 4 her bday.. she didn't have to choose although she doesn't mind choosing)... and finally i get one! :D After hinting so many times to get to it... then, when i'm done hoping, it happened. It was a pleasant surprise :D
.. now, i hope i won't be choosing my bday present.. and i'd prefer it wrapped, pls ;)


Actually.. before i got the message from US and the CD sms... i just woke up and went online... i wanted to post a new shoutout @FS... i was feeling quite low (coz i was so bored). My shoutout for today was actually "Pls surprise me... it's been too long since"... it sounded pathetic but it was wat i wanted (badly). I might have wanted a surprise so bad that these 2 frens got the vibe or something... and i have my wish! they both made my day. Even if u're halfway across the globe or living in the same city as i do... it's not the miles that count, it's the thot.
