Creating memories

Mama just got bnk from her hometown yesterday... she was talking about Alia... the lil daughter of my cousin. The parents divorced when she was just learning to run and talk. Ever since i 1st saw her, i knew she is a very special baby. It had been almost 2 years since i last saw her... just b4 the divorce. Even then, she is just the kid anyone cud love effortlessly.

I think she's about 4years old now.. Mama said Alia was there when she went back. She said she was such a poor kid coz she only gets to see her parents once in a while... neglected! She lives with her grandparents. Mama said Alia wud sleep with her at night (although she's not that familiar with mama).. alia wud hug her so tight til she sleeps. Hearing that... i was so upset with my cousin. But then Mama said alia was such a positive girl.. she is very observant and bright which leads to her being a pleasant and happy girl. I asked Mama "why don't u take her here and live with us?" surprisingly she said "i wanted to but the father won't give her up" .. wat surprised me was my mom was not really into adopting or taking a kid to be under her care (she said she's too old for that) and she just feel that alia was just right. I'd like her to come live with us... coz i know she'll grow up to be a better person with us. I don't want her to live like her parents... coz anyone can see that she is a very special girl. One look, and u'll just know... one look, and u'll feel like holding her in ur arms forever. I hope she will grow and learn to be different.


Happenings today...
Woke up ard 9am.. went to submit the final project @ biz school. Then got home. i plan to go celebrate Ira's bday together with saf.. just the 3 of us. seems that saf cud not make it, so i asked ira if she'd mind me inviting a few other frens. She said ok so i invited another 3 frens. They said ok. So i asked noni to help bring the cake there since i'm going to bring ira with me. 1pm, went out to look for a cake.. didn't have much time so i went to the nearest one and send it to noni's place... The traffic was bad coz of friday prayer. so i stayed at noni's for a while to let the traffic clears out. 2pm ira texted saying she's starving! so i went to pick her up and off we went to VS@taipan. The 3 frens had something else to do so they were 2 hours late. We finished our food and even ordered a 2nd round! But sonce ira was in a good mood, i'm fine... we didn't mind waiting and even laughed a lot shile waiting. Good sign. they showed up at 5 coz they went to VS@PJ instead of Taipan... miscommunication hehehe.

After the ate their steaks... i asked the waiters to bring in the cake. So slowlly they came... light the cake and sang to the bday girl...erk, i can see that she was angry at first (i was worried sick!). I thot this wud be ok... the reason i chose VS instead of TGIF was bcoz she wudn't hv to stand on a chair and sing. @ VS they sing and u blow out the candles. Then she has the smiles again... wat a relief! ( i was already imagining the worst!). She liked it :D Thank God!

She said it was the best & she's really happy... and she likes my present :) so i guess the day goes well. Well worth it all. the result... priceless! :D
