11am.. S called me. Slalu tau last minute aak kuar.. katanya dh call H & H seuju nk kuar kalau dia berjaya kejutkan ku dr tido... hahaha. Beriya gak nk suh ku bgn time tu. Memula ku cm malas... tetiba dia ajak tgk stardust... dh lama aku tunggu citer tu. Well, I've always liked claire danes' movies... she chooses well.
3 of us went for the movie... S went 1st... then we join her there.. late! should hv asked her to come to the cinema near our homes! She tricked us into going the one near her place.
We missed the 1st 5 minutes i think. The movie was so much fun... we enjoyed ourselves. It's like Pirates of the carribean meets the Lord of The Ring (though i've never really watched LOTR). Claire Danes is sweet and likable as always (i still think she's prettier in Romeo & Juliet)... The hero a.k.a. Tristan is played by Charlie Cox... he's kind of pleasant looking at first... but later in the film... we couldn't stop saying 'he IS SOOOO handsome' every time he appears. Robert de niro is so good... the feeling was like watching Jack Sparrow! Michelle Pfeiffer is still beautiful. Sienna Miller is the town's most beautiful girl but i don't quite agree with that.
It's funny thru out the plots... some suspense here and there. The set and special effects.. superb!. The storyline... it's based on a novel.. i wonder if the novel is better than the film.
I especially like robert de niro as captain shakespeare and also al those dead princes... really funny! Dialogues are simple and witty and funny. it's actually a fantasy story... but we can make sense of what's happening in the story.
I'd love to watch it again! Can't wait for the DVD... so we can watch it at H's house... a nice place to hang out (even if her husband's there... we're never 'segan' around her husband... i think he's like our big bro who is cool enough to want to hangout and go shopping with us and layan our craziness and sometimes giving brotherly advice... we also asked him to belanja our tix to watch federer hahaha! but i dn't think he'd waste rm2k on us).
Then we had our 1st meal of the day (kebulur giler) at uncle lim's.. it was bad so we didn't really eat. We went shopping... then we were all so tired and hungry... got a subway each.. then we were too full we felt like throwing out. So we called it a day. Dh senja pun.
