Smile :)

OK.. enough of the gloominess. I am in a very good mood today.. started everyday with a smile & today no harm was done to my not-so-consistent-coz-i-have-PMS-247 mood :)

I am just sleepy.. due to the very fattening local food called nasi lemak i had for breakfast. I don't usually like nasi lemak or roti canai (the two fave breakfast also known as the cause of cardiac arrest among Malaysians).. i was so hungry and it was the only fresh food available at the petrol station's mart. Bought it on the way to work.

About work. Work is about 40-50km away (depends on which route i choose for the day... and that depends on my mood hehehe) it normally takes 45minutes to 1 hour (again, depends on my mood). a big portion of my pay goes to traveling.. petrol & toll. The good news is (looking at the glass half full :P)... Touch&Go offers 20% rebates for frequent users (ME!). OK.. so let's calculate...

Assume i work an average of 22 days monthly... Toll is RM8 per day(this is not an assumption)... petrol is RM 20 per day (not applicable to the calculation.. FYI only)

22days x RM 8 = RM 176
20% of RM176 = RM35.20

so everyday i'll save RM 35.20! Yeay! (erk..) not that much.. but the glass is half full, remember? With RM 35.20... i can have:
i. 3-7 lepak sessions (now, this depends on my hunger :P)
ii. 3 drinks @ Starbucks
iii. a meal @ Fridays
iv. a 5-movie marathon on Wednesday
v. a pack of Huggies baby diapers? haha!

Now.. a bonus question... how much money do i spend on average for food & drinks at work? RM3... no, i'm not trying to save... food sucks here so i eat bread and drink mineral water. RM 3 is more than enough. I eat a real meal for dinner :) (this, i dn't mind spending!)

Look that Kiehl's (konon tajuk dlm majalah)...

Changed my skincare (not that i have one).. The tap water here is causing breakouts (yes, it's for my wuduk, otherwise i wouldn't have it on my face).. i googled (research!) and thinks Kiehl's sounds good. So i went to the outlet in Midvalley... there was no machine to test my skin condition (as opposed to what i read on the web) but the staffs were there to provide consultation based on observation (professionals? i dn't know).. which was not that convincing (she couldn't answer most of my questions) but lucky i did my research and learned a few things during my degree years.. i could make sense of it all. So i bought the trial set.. the price is OK. Reasonable (dn't compare with Fair&Lovely lah kan). She didn't push the other products which i think she should since i asked. There was a product i saw and thot of buying but since the staff isn't that friendly (she was nice but just too quiet), i decided to save it for later.

A week later went to the one @ Isetan, KLCC.. the staff is way better. Very friendly, very convincing but the cream i wanted was out of stock (she gave me the cream sample to try).. since she was nice, i felt bad if i don't buy so i bought something. And she was even nicer... gave me a few more samples (different products) to try (this is a good sales staff). FYI the MV outlet is not so generous with the samples.

So i've been using for 2 weeks now... feels ok.. of course it didn't transform me into Siti Nurhaliza (she uses the brand too but she's already naturally beautiful she can use Zaitun & look good). Helps me with the breakout problem. I used the cream sample (the one that's out of stock) and i think it's good.. trying to find time to go buy it. My chapped lips are not longer chapped :D coz i use the #1 lip balm. Apply once, it lasts the whole day... and it took only 2 days to restore my chapped lips (giler dh jd feature article kiehl's lak ni)
