Showdown of Champions

I am in a very good mood :D I just watched tennis supertars live in KL! It was last nite.. but i can still feel the excitement... how fun it was, how cool it was.

A gud fren was very thoughtful to think of me 1st when she got the tix... coz i always tell her how i like tennis. even better, she offered the remaining 2 tix for me to invite anyone i want. Of course two names came to mind, instantly. We planned on going to the previous meet when FedEx came down early this year but tix were sold out... so i hv to think of them 1st. Besides, i dn't think i'd be going if they're not going... coz i'll feel bad to have all the fun myself when we've always talked about watching tennis together. And Ira is a big fan of Federer... she'd b very happy to see him. Saf likes James Blake... i do too.. though not as much as i like Andy Roddick.. but still he's a gud player. Ju? i dn't know who she likes hehehe... she never talks about tennis so much but i know she watches on tv sometimes. I know Ju likes watching sporting events so she will definitely enjoy tennis.


The showdown was really entertaining yet filled with superb tennis by the legendary players. John McEnroe is still the mischief that he was when he was still in the ATP.. Bjorn Borg is such a cool and calm player with smiles when John gets naughty hehehe. Federer... oh, yes i have to admit he is handsome! Tall and good looking and gets girls and even married women drooling over him hahaha. But my fave will definitely be James Blake... he is such a sweet n cool guy. And he's tall too... his asset (besides being an incredible player) is his bum ;) He is the sexiest man in the ATP.

Watching tennis requires some discipline and self-restraint... while most of the audience knew when to be quiet, some just ignored and continue blabbering with their frens about gossip at work! They weren't even tennis fans! I "syhhh!" them a few times even add some cold looks their way... turned out they are the typical ignorant malay men!

However.. we did have fun watching the players revealing their true selves in the game... it's different from watching them play in tournament where they got all tensed and serious. Last nite... they played good tennis in a more relaxed form. Even the reserved Federer seemed at ease and was all smiles when Blake or McEnroe was fooling around, entertaining the audience during the match.

It was a great nite with 3 great frens :D so much fun but too bad we forgot to take pictures hahaha we were so into the players!
