I appreciate those who seek knowledge and improve themselves. Of all the AF aired all these years, never had i seen such a student until Mila. She started out real bad... i hated her in the 1st concert... my words of her weren't kind ones. I favored Heliza back then. But i didn't watch the Diari AF for the 1st few weeks so i didn't know who they really are.

Then, able to catch a few of the diaries... Then, i hated Heliza the vain and self-concious girl... i hated Aizat too for the arrogance. Was sick of Rizal.. admit it, he's so sickening! Noni is not to my liking either... crap! last but not least, Aswad... the most ignorant of them all.. he doesn't have a clue what song melody or even tempo is! Those are the reasons why people so hate AF (but they keep watching anyway hahaha!).

Mila didn't stand out until the 3rd week or so... people start noticing. We saw her doing her homework, saw her asking questions not caring if she sounds stupid. Speaking her mind. What u see is what u get. Sincere, honest and most importantly hard-working. You may see all the other students singing & practising all the time... they were singing but too vain to acknowledge their weaknesses or seek improvement so they were singing hoping that somehow it'll turn out ok for them. Lucky that they have those instructors to point out (well, Malaysian are used to be spoon fed.. the pride of our education system).

Mila shows constant improvement... people love her. I love her... and am very proud of her, of what she has made of herself. She was inside the academy so she didn't have a clue of her position... she knew that she was always 2nd last those weeks before so she expected that or worse each week. Watching the diary before the concert... I liked her more.. the part where she was talking about how grateful she is to Zhana for withdrawing coz if it wasn't for zhana, she's out the 1st week. It shows that she thinks, she ponders and she believes that things must happen for some reasons... "Bersyukur" that's the word i can't really find in English to truly describe the characteristic that i highly respect. It's a simple word but has great positive value on a person... it is rare especially in a person so young. Speaking of young... At her age (or even now)... i don't think i have half the enthusiasm and passion she has. I truly respect that.

Hope that she won't change herself once she's in the real world... the spoiled world of showbiz. With good guidance, with self-respect... the key is to stay grounded. Hope she turns out OK... looking forward to working with her in the near future.

My schedule...

1st june... annual dinner show @ Genting... if they want to include Mila... that'd be great. So far, the client's still on with the previous list of performers... maybe, I'd just go ask them if they want (if i managed to book Mila on that date, of course).

Nex month a show in Melaka... 3 artistes but low budget... 1st time bleh la bg... x larat nk minta harga kwn2 dgn artis everytime. Dorg pn nk cr mkn gak.

Then Annual dinner in Klang Valley... postponed coz the VVIP got some work overseas. I've asked my partner to book Mila for this if Dato' Siti is still not free for the new date. Hoping that our client will confirm soon.

June... some event with a minister. Still doing ground works for that. The minister's going on holiday so we had to postpone it to end of june.

July... will be supplying for event @ Dataran Merdeka... canopies, banquet settings, food (We set up a catering company with quite-a-celebrity-chef recently).

July... investing in publication for that Chef, TV shows.

August... if we have enough money, we may invest in an acoustic group.. great voice, great talent and still very young. Jumpa dorang nyanyi tepi jalan. Kalau dorg sanggup nk bersusah dulu... ada semangat... aku sendiri nk keluarkan duit. InsyaAllah kalau rezki mengizinkan.
