M'sian Doctors...
Someone was surely offended by my words on Malaysian Doctors... being a Malaysian and a supporter (though not very loyal at times) of the government policy and the Malaysian unwritten code of ethics, I apologize.
I said Malaysian Docs didn't work as hard as those in modern countries... i didn't mean they're useless or their 13A1s in SPM means nothing. My mistake, comparing it to the likes of Grey's Anatomy's characters (lots of unnecessary plots but still enlightening for the non-geeky minds). I've been in Hospitals in Malaysia... I wasn't a Med student or a nursing student. But part of my studies require me to be stationed at 5 different hospitals for 1 year. I have my opinions and it may not agree with others'... I've seen the specialist work, I've had conversations with them (yes, they have time to chat once in a while)... Some are impressive... some are just too arrogant! Knowing all about the body function doesn't make you next to God. Getting 4.0 in CGPA doesn't get you anywhere if you refuse to think out of the box.
Our education system doesn't teach us to be passionate about what we do... some are just lucky to learn that they love what they do. These very rare people make a difference. The rest... being the 'MANJA' Malaysians... they let the government do all the thinking. That's OK if we're still in the centuries of the Roman Empire or the Babylon... but today? Man, you ain't going nowhere if you're thinking of the 24hrs Mamaks at 11am on a wedenesday or worried that Faizal's gonna drag the black bag & be gone from AF this week that you can't even find the space bar on your keyboard. It's ok to have fun and let ur brain rest... but giving your brain a 3 month summer vacation?!!! And we don't even have summer in Malaysia!
Think whatever one likes... do as one please. It's your right. I shall respect what one chooses to be. I choose to be who I am, I choose to write this blog, i choose whatever i think right...
I AM NOT PERFECT... I choose to accept criticism & I choose to apologize for any offense.
I also AM a Malaysian... just not that "manja".
