GREY'S ANATOMY... LAYANNNNNNNN!!!
I watched the pilot episode on Star World... great show! So i downloaded season 1. I was smiling, laughing, 'urgh'ing, 'eee'ing, tearing by myself in front of the PC screen. Being a health science student... i love watching this sort of thing.
Grey's Anatomy is about a group of doctors training as surgeon at the Seattle Grace Hospital. Meredith Grey is the daughter of the great Dr Grey (everybody who's studied anatomy would know Doc Grey!... BTW, Doc Grey is a woman). She had a fling with a guy who turned out to be the Attending at SGH... she's the intern. Then there's this 'hati batu' korean-american intern, the XXX model intern, the 'player' intern and the everyone-thinks-he's-gay intern.
You want to know how hard life is as a doctor (in modern countries, of course!)... watch this TV series. If you want to know how doctors in Malaysia work... it's not as hard. That's why everybody wants to be a doctor over here.
Though life's hard... the still have time to have a fling or two, to party to get pregnant (hahaha! even doctors forgot to practice safe sex).
I'm waiting for my 2nd season download to finish... another 23 hours! I can't wait!

ReplyDeleteSo now I understand! Being a doctor is really not as hard in Malaysia, that's the reason EVERYONE wants to be a doctor!
ReplyDeleteNo wonder those 13A1 SPM students want to be doctors, they don't want to utilize their brain synapse for a more challenging ones like being a teacher, or even an astrophysicist, or a marine biologist.
Now I know why some Malaysian doctor doesn't want to come back to serve it's country and people, who are also their friends, aunts, uncles, aunt's friends, uncle's relatives, etc. Malaysian hospital is not challenging enuf, rite?
