TRANSKRIPSI, The Album... WORTH WAITING?

Hmmm... worth waiting? did i wait 2 years? Didn't notice i was waiting until a few months back.. so it wasn't that long a wait since it wasn't even a year. Honestly, i expected somthing more. Though the album's great, I expected more. Erwin Gutawa, man... I expected something similar to what he did for KD. Of course KD got Erwin's best... always (btw, i think they make a great team & i luv their work). It was good but not up to my high expectation... he's one the best in the region. After all those meetings.. and he produced 1 song?! I thought it was going to be ERWIN'S touch for most of the album. I WANT ERWIN!

The album is great though not excellent. Erwin would have made it excellent.

The songs... several genre of music put into 1 album. That's to capture a lot more listeners/fans. The songs aren't really 'too deep' into the genre thingy so everybody should be able to accept them. The rock (was it rock?) track... good vocals but i didn't get the rock feel... i got the rock-sopan feel. Siti Situ Sana Sini... good, but more beats would capture the hiphop fans... it was more RnB so it's not actually a fast track... a smooth flowing track. Rupanya Kita Serupa... i especially like this song (after listening a few times). It reminds me of the movie, WOMAN ON TOP. Romatic, relax, sexy. I imagine a romantic dinner by the beach, a few handsome latinos (including the guy from the movie) in hawaian shirts doing this number. Sometimes... afdlin shauki just pop right up to replace one of the latin guys... still, i'd feel good coz i wouldn't mind afdlin putting a big smile on my face.

The ballads... she's the ballad Queen! The songs are personal. Fans will appreciate them... she finally shares her feelings! Fans get to know her better. I like the humming of Hati Berbisik that she played from her handphone... i can really feel that song better thru it. I like all the ballads... i can 'hear' Erwin Gutawa! Right now, i like the song Bila Harus Memilih.

In Hati Berbisik... i noticed some strange sound repeatedly in the background... it was kind of awkward. i was listening to it on my walkman phone, driving & i thought there was something wrong with my car! Was it meant to be there? or was it bcoz the file wasn't transferred properly to my phone causing it to sound like that? But i'm listening to it on my PC... i cn still hear that sound!

in a nutshell... It is a great album, a blend of great music. Siti Nurhaliza did superbly with her vocals. I expected something better coz i have high expectations... and she has always lived up to them. But i guess my expectations were way too high this time. Though i said INTRIKSI was GOOD yet not Excellent (coz of my expectations).. i still think that no other local artists' albums could compare to hers. She's sharing her feelings, opening up, recapturing her fans' hearts.

Aku byk kali dgr... org yg x minat dia, x suka kt dia...tp bila jumpa je terus lembut hati, terus sayang, terus minat. Aku akui bila tgk muka dia... ku pn akan rasa bersalah kalau ada pernah aku timbul rasa marah pdnya. Aku x tahu apa yg aku npk pd muka dia... tp aku rasa muka dia 'transparent' sgt, sampai boleh nampak hati dia. Npk bersih. Aku pernah tgk dia marah, aku pernah tgk dia masam, aku pernah tgk dia sedih, pernah tgk dia takut, pernah tgk dia risau, pernah tgk dia gundah, pernah tgk dia gembira, pernah tgk dia angau, pernah tgk dia nakal, pernah tengok dia gila2... aku pernah tgk mcm2 emosinya... tp aku dapat 'comprehend' dan rasa bangga sbb aku dpt melihat di sebalik semua itu hanya ada satu pengertian.

Semua itu yg menjadikan dirinya...yg buat jutaan orang sayang pdnya, yg buat semua org meletakkan beban yg begitu berat ke atasnya, yg buat semua orang ambil mudah dirinya... kerana dia x pernah mengeluh. Bila sesekali mengeluh, berilah ruang pdnya.. dia sudah letih, benarkan dia berehat seketika. Jutaan orang limpahkannya dgn kekayaan krn ingin dia memikul beban yg x dpt mereka pikul... Sedikit beban terjatuh dr bahunya... jgnlah ambil dan lontar ke arahnya, bantulah dia membawa beban itu. Sudah terlalu berat beban yg kian bertambah... jgnlah tambah sehingga tak tertampung dan tersujud menyembah bumi.
